01 Who we are
MediaCircular (“we”, “us”) is an independent business, technology and emerging-economy media and intelligence platform. This policy applies to our website and to the newsletters and services we offer through it. You can reach us at hello@mediacircular.com.
02 Information we collect
- When you subscribe: your name, email address, WhatsApp number (if you choose a WhatsApp plan), your plan preference and whether you want event updates.
- When you contact us: your name, email address, company (if given), the topic and your message.
- Technical information: basic data such as IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit, collected through our server and the cookies described in our Cookie Policy.
03 How we use your information
- To send you The Circular and the updates you asked for, by email or WhatsApp.
- To respond to your messages and requests.
- To keep the website secure, understand how it is used and improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations.
04 Your permission
We use your personal information only for the purposes described in this policy and for which you have given your permission. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing without your permission, except where the law requires us to.

05 Who we share it with
We may share information with service providers who help us run the website, send email or messages, or process payments if paid plans are enabled. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
06 Third-party services
Our pages load fonts, icons and code libraries from third-party providers such as Google Fonts, Font Awesome (cdnjs) and jsDelivr. When your browser fetches these, those providers receive your IP address and browser details. Share buttons and links on our pages take you to other websites, whose privacy practices we do not control.
07 How long we keep it
We keep subscriber details for as long as you are subscribed, and messages for as long as needed to respond to you and keep a record. We delete or anonymize information we no longer need.
08 Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you messages. To do so, write to hello@mediacircular.com from the email address you used with us. You can also unsubscribe at any time.
09 Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10 Children
Our services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11 Use of our content
Our articles, reports and data are protected. They cannot be copied or used without our permission. The rules are set out in our Terms of Use.
12 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
